After much deliberation I finally decided to go with the upgraded 1.8, i7, 256 SSD Macbook Air. I was really wanting to move to flash memory and now after setting up my local environment and Adobe Creative Suite I’m well pleased with the decision. This thing runs like a dream and looks incredible.

I’ve been considering going back to a Windows based laptop for some time and I think this is might be the system to make me.

Seriously considering purchasing one of the Mac Mini servers. Such a powerful unit for how small and portable it is. The price seems much more reasonable in comparison to most Apple products.

Just a few shots from my time in Europe. It was an amazing time and one that I hope to re visit in the not so distant future. Walking the streets of Montmarte, croissant in hand. Going up and down giant sets of stairs looking for the ideal beach spot in Amalfi. Walking around rickety old wooden gorge paths in Zermatt. Visiting what could only be describes as the best park I have ever seen in Lyon, not to mention the free zoo and flower display that goes throughout. These are the things I miss most about Europe.

Can’t wait to finally see Dylan Moran this month after missing his shows so many times before. Here’s a link to one of my favourite tube clips of his.

After enjoying ‘On the Road’ so much I decided to read some other Kerouac classics including ‘The Lonesome Traveller’ and ‘The Dharma Bums’. Both were great and perfect companions whilst on train rides across Italy and France.

Listened to the Bob Dylan ‘Chronicles Vol. 1′ as an audio book read by Sean Penn. Great book to listen to while traveling overseas.

Went and saw the Dandy’s at the Tivoli the other night. What a great live band!

Closing in on the 5th season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Quiet possibly the most cruel and hilarious show of all time. I especially love the fact that Charlie is actually married to the waitress in real life.
